It’s been wonderful to be home for a few weeks and SO very good to be on an adults-only trip in gorgeous Jamaica.

This is Threefold’s 10th President’s Club trip. Since I haven’t worked in the businesses in as many years, thi
Today marks two weeks home from our epic trip. Our kids also rocked their first full week back at school.

When I asked Crosby how being back felt to him he gave such a great analogy that resonated so well with me: “It feels like our trip was
Back at it!!

The past several days have been a whirlwind of long yearned-for hugs, lots of dog snuggles, birthday parties and basketball games, purging clothes that are several inches too short for the kids, and remembering the feeling of the cold

We’ve had a wonderful few days in Honduras! What a gift to have a bit of a “soft transition” in our final country by meeting up with teammates.
Charlie was planning to be on this vision trip with several leaders of Renovia and Thre
Monkeys are always so much fun!! We spent a morning on Gambia Lake feeding Cappuccino Monkeys, listening to the eerie Howler Monkeys, and wrapped up our time at the Sloth Sanctuary. We’ve loved all the animals we’ve gotten to see!!
Connecting in Panama made the most sense for our travels north, and we decided to stay a couple of days…mostly because we wanted to see the Panama Canal.
It didn’t disappoint!! What an amazing engineering feat and so fascinating to lear
Well hey there, Panama…with your gorgeous skyline😍
As our 7 month adventure winds down, we escaped to the islands to round out our time in Colombia for several days of sunshine and relaxation. It’s been a perfect way to decompress, chip away at some schoolwork, and enjoy the fact that we don&rs
Colonization, slavery, war, and horrific mistreatment of indigenous people have been consistent themes we’ve seen across our travels and throughout the history of the world.
Our visit to Palenque - the first free city in the Americas told the
Ah, Cartagena. We love your art galleries, your vibrant streets, your eclectic architecture, and your friendly people. ❤️🇨🇴❤️
Two things I couldn’t live without: coffee and chocolate…and we got to learn about each!
I hadn’t ever seen cocoa fruit before…much less tasted it. The process of fermentation, to drying the seeds, to roasting, and grinding
No trip to the coffee region is complete without a coffee farm tour!

We rode in a 1954 Jeep Willy up steep mountain alleys (this was a highlight for the kids!) to get to this remarkable family farm.

Colombia is well known for their coffee and par
The colorful homes in Salento stem from history when people painted their houses as alliance to their political party. Red represented the Liberal party and blue for Conservatives.
But as political violence broke out, this made it easy to target hom
Our first excursion out to the Cocora Valley made for a beautiful little hike (and a nice little altitude challenge).
It’s evident why this place inspired the location for the casita in Encanto.
What a happy surprise it’s been to find ourselves in this country. Colombia is only 2nd to Brazil as the most biodiverse country in the world. The coffee region has been a beautiful place for us to call home this week. A little exploring of the
We loved checking out Comuna 13 in Medellin. It started off as an illegal settlement above the city when thousands of citizens were driven out of the rural areas with only the clothes on their back due to violence and conflict. Because of poverty and
Our first day in Medellin included a day trip to visit the big rock, Guatape. The views of the lake were stunning, and we had a great time exploring them by boat (and seeing one of Pablo Escobar’s many former homes in Colombia). We also had the
Our last day at the reserve was quite memorable!
We started the morning with an “adults only” ride to hunt a Capybara the Llanero way. Charlie tapped into his Ohio farm childhood and assisted thru the whole process.
I’ve never witn
Feliz Año Nuevo!! It was so much fun to welcome in the New Year in Medellin, Colombia with dear friends!

We loved exploring the Encanto lights downtown, celebrating @jengerbig, and welcoming 2023 with Colombian traditions, including burning
